Justin Hakuta is an alumni of Carnegie Mellon University. He researched the NGO response to human trafficking in the Philippines in 2007 as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar. Justin created the Human Trafficking Project after witnessing the need for increased public awareness of modern day slavery and additional resources to assist survivors of trafficking during rehabilitation and reintegration into their home communities.
